Yesterday, Haiti was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. Reports immediately came in that a hospital collapsed and the death toll has just begun rising.
Today, even as I work, I fast and pray for Haiti. I put aside my distractions, except to donate, learn and check on friends and relatives. I stop pursuing a trivial moment and I pray for the human beings lost and broken in Haiti.
The mainstream will devastate and anger, and there’s a lot of need in Haiti right now besides our words. What are you doing?
Besides donating my own money to Haiti, I will continue to pray for them. Lifting everything up to Heaven for them.
