Building the Warehouse Part I

Recently I decided I didn’t want to live in a house when I grow up (read: get my money right).  Instead, I want to have a large ‘urban getaway’ in a city somewhere (read: a warehouse).  So, to really drive this dream, I’ve decided to start building it out in my mind and here on Afrolicious.net by collecting visual pieces from around the web.  It’s good to dream, isn’t it? It’s even better to dream big!

The first piece I’d like to share is this custom flooring I found on Letman.com.  I’m no interior designer or architect, but this looks like hardwood to me, hardwood with beautiful, custom lettering.  The grain serves as a guide for the letters. I can has  typography on my floors?

In my warehouse there will be many rooms; I don’t know where I’d have this gorgeous concept come to life, but that’s why we dream, right?
